The Scrapingdog’s add-on is now in your spreadsheet, (if for some reason you can’t see it on your side panel, just refresh the spreadsheet and you will be good to go)
We are expanding our native integrations to various platforms, making it easier to collect data using Scrapingdog. Google Sheets was on top priority, because that’s what is used most by our paid subscribers.
This integration aims to reduce the time for users, as they would not need to use app scripts & or any third-party tools to get the data back on their spreadsheet.
How To Use This via Google Sheets?
Currently, this is the first version, and we have the following Scrapers that you can use in Google Sheets.
- Google Maps Scraper
- Amazon Search Scraper
- Google Search Scraper
- Google News Scraper
- LinkedIn Job Scraper
We will be adding more scrapers to this integration in the future!!
Below is a step by step process to use this native integration in your Google Sheets!
I am assuming you already have Scrapingdog’s API_KEY with you. If you don’t, you can sign up from here to get it. Once you complete the onboarding process, you can easily access your key on your Scrapingdog’s dashboard.
Go to your Google Sheets, click extensions on the header of your Spreadsheet (option next to Help), search for ‘Scrapingdog’ & finally install it.
The Scrapingdog’s add-on is now in your spreadsheet, (if for some reason you can’t see it on your side panel, just refresh the spreadsheet and you will be good to go)

From here on, you need your API_KEY (copy that from the dashboard & paste it here) & scrape the platform of your choice.
In the GIF below, I have shown how you can use Google Search Scraper.
And this way, you can use any Scraper in Google Sheets using Scrapingdog’s add-on.
