Scrapingdog Weekly Changelog: June 29-July 5, 2026

Keeping APIs reliable is a constant job. Websites change their layouts, platforms update how they respond, and every one of those changes can quietly break the data flowing into your applications. Our job is to catch these changes fast and fix them before they slow you down, so that from your side, everything just keeps working the way it should. Today's update covers two restorations and one exciting new launch. Here is everything that happened, in plain language, and why it matters to you.

Fixes and Restorations

Company Profile API - Stability Restored

Some users were running into intermittent issues with the Company Profile API. The root cause was traced back to the underlying data pipeline, which was occasionally interrupting the extraction process and affecting response reliability. Our team worked to stabilize the pipeline from the ground up rather than applying a quick patch. The result is an API that now runs smoothly, with consistent data extraction and dependable response times. If you rely on this API for company data in your workflows, you can expect steady, production-ready performance going forward.

Google AI Mode API - References Restored

Google recently made a change to the structure of its AI Mode responses, and that change broke reference extraction in our API. This meant users were getting AI Mode results without the supporting references and citations that usually come with them. References matter because they let you verify where an answer is coming from and build more trustworthy downstream experiences. Our team identified exactly what shifted in Google's response format and rebuilt our parser to match it. Reference extraction is now fully back online, so you will once again get complete responses, citations included, exactly as expected.

New Launch

Bing Shopping API - Now Live

This one is not a fix, it is something brand new. The Bing Shopping API is officially available for use, and it opens up a whole new category of data for anyone building in the e-commerce or shopping space.

With this API, you can pull:

●       Product listings directly from Bing Shopping search results

●       Pricing and availability details tied to those listings

●       Related shopping data that supports comparison and discovery use cases

Whether you are building a price comparison tool, a product discovery engine, or a broader e-commerce research platform, this API gives you a fast, structured way to access Bing's shopping search data without having to build and maintain your own scraper. It is live now and ready for you to start integrating right away.

For teams already working with Bing's search data, this launch fits naturally alongside your existing setup. You get shopping-specific results in a clean, structured format, so you spend less time parsing raw pages and more time building the features your users actually see. And because it runs on the same infrastructure that powers our other APIs, you can expect the same level of reliability and support you already know.

Here is a video tutorial about our weekly updates

Summary at a Glance

● Company Profile API (July 3) — Restored — stable pipeline, consistent extraction

● Google AI Mode API (July 3) — Restored — references and citations back

● Bing Shopping API (July 3) — Launched — product listings and shopping data now available

What This Means for You

If you were affected by either of the two issues above, no action is needed on your end. The fixes are already live, and your existing integrations should now behave normally. If you noticed missing references in Google AI Mode responses or inconsistent data from the Company Profile API over the past few days, those problems are resolved.

If you are interested in the new Bing Shopping API, check out our documentation to get started. It is built to slot easily into product discovery tools, price tracking systems, and any application that needs structured shopping data without the overhead of maintaining your own scraper.
