Three Storefronts, One Endpoint
Apps, games and books all answer on the same call — switch with a single store parameter.
Scrapingdog's Google Play Store API turns apps, games and books into clean JSON — ratings, downloads, pricing, screenshots and chart listings.

Proxies, retries and HTML parsing are handled on our side. You send a query and get structured results.

Invalid parameter combinations are rejected up front with a clear message, so a bad request never costs you credits.
Chart switches and the curated shelves Google features come back alongside the results.
Track where an app ranks for its keywords and which listings outrank it.
Follow a rival app’s rating, install count and pricing over time.

All three storefronts on one endpoint — apps, games and books — covering search results, category browsing, editorial sections and chart listings.
No. Omitting query is a deliberate mode: you get the storefront’s curated home page, with its editorial sections and charts, instead of a result list.
organic_results is always an array of sections, never a flat list of products. A search returns one section whose title is null; browsing a category returns several titled sections. Each section carries its listings in items.
Three tokens come back in the response — next_page_token for the next page, section_page_token to page within one section, and see_more_token to expand a section’s “See more” link. Send only one per request.
No. Parameter combinations are validated before any scraping happens, so a rejected request returns a 400 with a clear message and costs no credits.
Each successful request costs 5 API credits, including category browsing and pagination calls.
