Yelp Place API

The Yelp Place API returns a single Yelp business as structured JSON: rating, review count, price range, categories, contact details, address, opening hours, amenities, review insights, popular dishes and photos. Pass the business’s place ID or its full URL — the Yelp Search API returns the place_id this endpoint expects.

Business — send either one

place_id Required
The Yelp business alias: everything after /biz/ in the business URL, without any query string. For https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-cheesecake-factory-san-francisco-12 it is the-cheesecake-factory-san-francisco-12. Results from the Yelp Search API include place_ids: [biz_id, alias] — pass the second value, the alias.

Required unless url is sent.

url Required
A full, URL-encoded Yelp business page URL, for example https%3A%2F%2Fwww.yelp.com%2Fbiz%2Figgys-burger-san-francisco. Use this instead of place_id. When url is sent, place_id and yelp_domain are ignored.

yelp_domain Optional
The Yelp country site to use with place_id, for example yelp.ca, yelp.co.uk or yelp.com.au. The request is made to https://www.{yelp_domain}/biz/{place_id}, and every link in the response uses this domain. Ignored when url is sent.

Default: yelp.com

Type: String
html Optional
Set to true to get the raw HTML of the Yelp page instead of parsed JSON. Useful when you need a field this API does not parse. Costs the same 5 credits.

Default: false
